A flowering plant (Euphorbia pulcherrima) native to Mexico and Central America typically with red foliage (bracts) beneath a small yellow center (cyathia). Pink, white, yellow, marble and shape variations have been developed. Popoular @ Christmas and Holidays. Not generally poisonous.
